FLORITE™ acts as an "All in One Excipient" being a macro porous calcium silicate with high absorbency and compressibility.
Tomita's FLORITETM is an inorganic functional material with petal like structures. Unlike ordinary porous materials, it has extremely large pore radiuses and volumes. Active ingredients can move relatively freely within these pores and can be used for absorption, loading, release, and reaction. Its physical structure aids in the solid dispersion of poorly soluble APIs, improving the tableting process and allowing control of dissolution.
